A Day in the Life...

Photographer Jenny Jiminez came over a couple weeks ago to help document the cuteness and craziness that is our life. As Murphy's Law would have it, the kids were probably the crankiest they've ever been. Ever. She still managed to get some great images. Here's a sampling (and excuse the length of this post - it was hard to decide!):

That's right. The kids are walking now. Our eyes are wide with pride for what they've done and fear for what they're going to get into.

Late September Photo Dump

Some photos from the last couple weeks. Pascal is walking, climbing, crawling, moving everywhere. Tunnel vision for stairs. Louis is taking steps but then gets excited about the fact that he's taking steps and loses his balance. He has just learned the word "no" but Pascal is balancing him out now by nodding "yes." I just had to buy a new copy of Brown Bear, Brown Bear because ours just disintegrated with overuse. We have begun a daily smoothie ritual which is how I am getting greens in their little plump bodies, along with berries and other goodness. In other news we are house shopping in North Seattle, which means Pascal and Louis have spent many hours in backpacks checking out new neighborhoods. Wish us luck!

Let them eat cake!

Vegan (no eggs) cake with cream cheese frosting, that is. Pascal and Louis were joined by their favorite friends, aunts, and uncles on Saturday to celebrate one year of life. Lots of firsts: first cake, first sugar high, first present opening, first time Mamma and Pappa let them stay up late...

It's my party and I'll cry if I want to. Not wanting to share the beloved trike with Oscar :)
