People without kids won't understand this milestone. I mean, if only I could lower the bar for my achievements that low. But in baby achievements it's the early stages of crawling and soon, in a year or two, he'll be running marathons. Go Pascal go!

Road trip at 4.5 months

For the last 5 years a group of our friends have been going out to the Methow Valley for a cross country ski trip. We ski hut to hut and its always a blast. It's the annual rendezvous trip.
This year Lina and I decided that the kids we not going to keep us from this tradition. We didn't do the huts this year. I mean we're not CRAZY! We rented a house with another family. It was fun. Hard but fun. On the 5 hour trip back we stopped at a bakery for a baby pit stop. Louis didn't quite make it to the bakery. He woke up and soon got bored. What can you do with a fidgeting infant? Sing. And so we did.
