Vegan (no eggs) cake with cream cheese frosting, that is. Pascal and Louis were joined by their favorite friends, aunts, and uncles on Saturday to celebrate one year of life. Lots of firsts: first cake, first sugar high, first present opening, first time Mamma and Pappa let them stay up late...

Dustin The Wind Blows Into Town

This is a belated post. In early August, my one and only, favorite and most cherished brother, dropped in for a whirlwind 36-hour visit on his way back to Switzerland from a conference in Portland. We laughed, we played, we sat, we talked, we reconnected, and we took about 2,000 photos. Here is a small sampling. We miss you, Dust!
