A good time had by all. Throwing rocks checking out the sea shells. I think the kids could spend years on the beach Black Stallion style. But then again, who couldn't?

Rocking chair
The last time we visited my grandparents in Connecticut, the boys were introduced to my Dad's childhood rocking chair. It was love at first sight, and the chair has since been shipped to Seattle. It hangs out by the door of the playroom and brings daily joy to my little rockers.

After Dinner Run Around
This time of night is the sweet spot of happy kids. After dinner and before the bed time. They run and chase and bonk into each other.
This video is just running and giggling. I'm not sure where Louis is going but he's going with conviction!!!!

Ring around the Rosey video
This isn't that fancy of a post but the link should be good.
Why kids like the story of the plague so much I don't know. But watching them giggle is super fun.

The boys hit the hip hop scene
Louis and Pascal, aka The Diaper Duo recently hit the scene in the Ravenna area of Seattle. They broke in with their hit single "Ba Ba to All My Ladies". They hope to pair up with Beyonce for their next album.
Below you can see Louis kickin' it at home after a late night of partyin' and some serious milk drinkin' . Meanwhile, Pascal strikes his thug pose for the camera.
French or German?
Many kids like a hot dog now and then. It's easy for parents to make and kids seem to get used to it. But mustard?
Lina thinks it's the French side. And the argument can be made that dijon is french. But I have always associated it with the German side. Perhaps it's just my fathers addiction to a good mustard but the kids do seems to like a little mustard.
What's your vote?
Mustard blew the doors off of Pascal.

Thanksgivings with the other coast family!
It's been a really really long time since our last post. Sorry about that. The things that have been taking up our time..... Marc passed his first architecture exam (of seven), we bought a house and are now renovating it, we are getting renters for our old place and working on the overwhelming aspects of moving a couple of pack rats with two kids worth of crap... I mean toys.
Anyway, we are now going to post Thanksgiving photos.
We all flew out to the east coast. Holy cow! What a difficult "challenge" that was.
But very worth it. The short version is we saw Lina's grandparents, i.e. Louis and Pascal's great grandparents. They were OVER THE MOON! It was great. Then a drive to Philadelphia for my east coast extended family. The kids had a great time with all the cousins and Lina and I were really proud to introduce them to the whole family.
